Start spreading the news, the New York office opened in February 2009, just north of Macy’s and Herald Square.  We’ve been in our current location, sandwiched between Bryant Park and Grand Central, since 2012.

Thirty employees work hard for the money in the NYC office. We are primarily client-facing with a good mix of team members from account management, creative solutions, facilities, insights, marketing, product, publisher team and sales.

When a client asks the New York team for anything, we stop, collaborate and listen. It’s a “dog eat dog world” in NYC so we hit the ground running and work together to ensure clients have everything they need to make their lives easier. This is one of the big reasons why our retention rate remains high even with the ever-growing presence of competition coming from all angles. Clients know exactly what they’re getting from us: strong performance, proactive recommendations, excellent customer service and a can-do attitude from every Expo team member they work with.

The office loves to come together, thanks to the Fun Committee, who excel at planning events such as hot pot, trivia nights, happy hours, escape rooms and volunteer events.  Museum scavenger hunts are a big favorite and have been known to get competitive. But all is well when we meet at the finish line and head to one of our favorite local bars to toss back a few drinks with each other.  We also take great pride in embarrassing/pranking each other on birthdays -  the less someone wants their birthday celebrated, the bigger the balloons (and sometimes singing telegrams) we purchase.

Some say NYC is the greatest city in the world and we tend to agree! Not only is it one of the best cities to live in but it’s also an ideal place to work if you’re in the advertising industry. There is no shortage of stuff to do in the city – we love the Highline or Central and Prospect Parks for some outdoor time. SoHo and the West Village are great for shopping and celebrity sightings. And there are so many great places for food - Peter Luger for steak, Carbone for pasta, Wayland for oysters, Tanoshi for Sushi, and if you need something to wash it all down, you can pretty much throw a rock and hit an Irish Pub.

“Started from the bottom, now we’re here,” as well as the age old, “teamwork makes the dream work.”

Our office is located on the NYC street synonymous with advertising: Madison Avenue. So you might say we are real-life Mad Men (and Man Women). Another fun fact is that we recently started a wine club where we sample a mix of champagne, white and red wine. Each person in the office is assigned a bottle of wine and is responsible for finding a food pairing to bring to the tasting so that we all get to embark on a wine and culinary adventure.

We believe that a fun place to work is key to keeping people happy! We have built out a lounge area, complete with couches, shuffle board table and TV (where many employees gather at lunch time to catch up on the latest Judge Faith episode.) When the TV’s off, we can be found jamming out in the office to our favorite playlists that include Hip Hop BBQ, Poolside in Your Mind and Songs to Sing in the Car
